Champions for Health is hosting its 5th Annual Aces for Health Golf & Tennis Tournament on Monday, March 27 at Lomas Santa Fe Country Club in Solana Beach. The event will benefit the charity’s flagship program, Project Access San Diego (PASD), which facilitates life-changing medical care for low-income, uninsured San Diegans.

Last year’s Aces for Health Golf Tournament sold out, netting $63,000 for PASD. This year’s tournament is expected to follow suit and attract more than 250 physicians and leaders in medicine, with a round-robin tennis tournament for all levels, and an expanded evening reception and awards ceremony honoring our “Health Heroes,” physician volunteers making significant contributions to the PASD program.

“Aces for Health is a crucial revenue source for our Project Access program, which supports more than 800 uninsured patients each year,” said Barbara Mandel, Champions for Health CEO. “We are grateful and encouraged by how the community continues to participate in this event and support our mission.”

Event schedule is as follows:
11:30 a.m. – golf registration and luncheon
12:30 p.m. – shotgun start time, scramble format
1:30 p.m. – tennis round-robin tournament and exhibition
5:30 p.m. – Health Heroes awards reception and dinner

Golf and tennis packages include golf or tennis play, a gift bag, and the reception/dinner. A golf foursome is $1,000; individual players are $300. Individual tennis players are $75. The Health Heroes reception and dinner only is $75 per person.
