San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy will be hosting its 30th Anniversary Gala, Birds of a Feather, on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Lomas Santa Fe Country Club. The event will feature live piano music, specialty cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a full course dinner, photo opportunities, live bird encounters, and silent and live auctions. “This will be a memorable evening,” said Doug Gibson, Conservancy Executive Director and Principal Scientist. “We imagine a future where more plants and animals thrive, where community agriculture expands, and where the youth in our field trips today will evolve to be leaders for nature now, and in the next generation.”

San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy is a community-supported nonprofit land trust for San Elijo Ecological Reserve, working to protect and restore the resources of the lagoon, its watershed, and related ecosystems. For more information about the Birds of a Feather Gala visit
