Local Tastes
The 2017 Taste of Del Mar event, hosted by the Del Mar Village Association, gave the community an opportunity to browse and sample more than 25 of the finest local restaurants, as well as over 15 craft beer and wine “sip stops.” Participants tasted, judged, and voted on the best bite and sip of the day.

Giving Thanks
Thanksgiving is a time to gather with family and friends and enjoy a meal together. If you don’t feel like cooking this year, treat yourself to a delicious Thanksgiving dinner at one of several local restaurants like Sbicca or Pamplemousse Grille.

Fresh Happenings
Del Mar recently welcomed its first brewery and restaurant, Viewpoint Brewing Co., located on the banks of the San Dieguito Lagoon and River Park, just north of Del Mar Village and within eyeshot of the Fairgrounds. The open-air joint features more than just beer, however, with brunch, light bites, and full-service dinner on the menu. Check out this local hot spot and enjoy skee-ball, lawn games, and the gorgeous view!

Solana Beach also celebrated the grand opening of Fish District Eatery in late September with fish and chips bites, clam chowder, and family-friendly fun.
