The SaltDog Classic Beach Fest celebrated its third year at Seaside State Beach in September. The grassroots family-friendly festival featured a stage with live entertainment, vendors, a bubble station, gaming area, a local food truck, and lots of friendly dogs. “Each year the SaltDog Classic brings our San Diego community together for a day of festivities, and helps raise money for nonprofits that progress the world around us,” said event founder Elan Saltman. This year the festival benefited the Rollin’ From the Heart Foundation, a local nonprofit that works to improve the lives of disadvantaged and at-risk youth through active experiences like skateboarding, surfing, and camping. “As more people are exposed to local organizations fighting the good fight,” Elan said, “more people will help the efforts to conserve our great coastline.” Find out more at www.saltdogclassic.com.
