The Beach & Country Guild hosted over 200 guests at the 49th Annual Dia del Sol luncheon at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar in October, raising $220,000 for United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of San Diego. The “Age of Aquarius”-themed event included silent and live auctions, gourmet lunch, a GapKids fashion show featuring kids living with cerebral palsy, and a men’s and women’s fashion show. Kimberly Hunt of 10News served as the mistress of ceremonies.

“We are so fortunate to have such a hard-working group so committed to our cause, year after year,” said Guild President Deanna Murphy. “Dia del Sol is truly a collaborative labor of love for everyone involved. As the sole external fundraising entity supporting UCP San Diego, we fully understand that responsibility and are honored to do what we can for the organization and our neighbors in San Diego living with cerebral palsy.” Learn more at www.beachandcountry.org.
